LIP BLUSH AFTERCARE

To ensure proper healing and long-lasting results, follow these aftercare instructions carefully.

Immediate Aftercare (First 24 Hours)

Blot your lips gently with a clean tissue every 30 minutes to remove lymphatic fluid. This helps prevent excessive scabbing.

Apply a thin layer of the recommended healing ointment with clean hands or a cotton swab. Do not over-apply.

Avoid touching your lips with unwashed hands to prevent infection.

Drink liquids through a straw to avoid direct contact with your lips.

Avoid kissing, spicy foods, and excessive lip movement.

No water of any kind on lips for 2 weeks! Steam, sauna, long steamy showers, swimming..

Days 1-7: Healing Process

Keep lips lightly moisturized with the provided aftercare balm.

Expect mild swelling, tenderness, and peeling. This is normal.

Do not pick, scratch, or peel the scabs—this may result in patchy healing or pigment loss.

Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods that may cause irritation.

Do not expose lips to direct sunlight or tanning beds for 2 weeks.

Days 7-14: Peeling & Color Adjustment

Lips may begin to flake and appear lighter. The color will gradually return within 4-6 weeks.

Continue applying a gentle, unscented lip balm.

Avoid excessive moisture (long showers, swimming, saunas).

Long-Term Care

Use SPF lip balm daily to prevent premature fading.

Avoid exfoliating treatments or harsh skincare on the lips.

Stay hydrated for healthy-looking lips.

A touch-up appointment in 10-16 weeks is typically recommended for best results.

MICROBLADING AFTERCARE

  • Don’t get brows wet for 48 hours.

  • After 48 hours: with clean hands- carefully wash brows w/ gentle foam cleanser and pat dry. No scratching or picking. Apply rice grain size amount of provided aftercare to brows with a clean q-tip.

  • Continue to apply provided aftercare balm to brows with clean q-tip 2-3 times per day until scabbing fully dissipates.

Avoid The Following For 2 Weeks After Microblading:

  • Touching the microbladed area except when applying aftercare ointment.

  • Sleeping on brows.

  • Scratching, picking or peeling the microbladed area, as it can cause scarring and/or color loss.

  • Applying any makeup, moisturizer, lotion, or sunscreen to your eyebrows.

  • Sun exposure: sun tanning - tanning beds.

  • Laser, chemical peels and any other form of exfoliation.

  • Exercise that produces sweat.

  • Long, hot baths or showers - jacuzzis - saunas - swimming {no steam/sweating}.

  • Agressive cleansers and exfoliants~ especially those with acids like: retinol/retin-a, glycolic, lactic, mandelic.

  • Deep household cleaning where airborne debris can become prevalent.

  • Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, as it can cause wounds to heal slower.

  • Transportation in open-air-vehicles where strong wind is likely, for example; driving in cars with windows down, convertibles, motorcycles, bicycles, and boats.

After 2 Weeks:

Resume your normal activities but be very cautious with sun exposure.

Continue to avoid laser or chemical peels and forms of exfoliation, and any creams containing retinal or glycolic acid until after the completion of your Microblading touch up appointment, and its healing process as well.

Any areas that need further attention will be adjusted at your 4-6 week complimentary touch up if you are a new client.
